Please keep all of your suggestions in here!










1.     Do vendors sign up the same as our members?  

2.    How do I make sure I get an email for every post to the BUUG?  I don't see where I can star it?

3.    I don't think Phoenix should be listed as a core solution.  This is the Ultradata Users' group.  They could be in the Vendor listing as a product that our members might be interested in.

4.    Where do we indicate that we are using a particular vendor?

5.    I don't see "stars" next to the various topics - so I can't add them to "My Starred Topics"

6.    I don't think this is very intuitive.  I'm struggling - I'm not sure where I sign up for specific topics. 

7.    How do I add other vendors under the grey areas?

8.    Could we just have simple titles in the grey area without all the verbiage?

Where "Talk About Photography" is "General Discussion" and the sub-forums are each functional area within Ultradata - Front Office, Back Office, Collections, etc (Perhaps these are under "Ultradata Enterprise Core" but you can see the point.
5) I do not think it is clearly intuitive how to post or start a post.
6) Perhaps a section at the bottom with stats - total users, total posts, total threads, etc.
7) Perhaps a threaded top navigation tool, with links to the prior pages. So, if someone goes into a thread, then a subcategory, that a topic, they can see that "trail" at the top, and each prior click has a direct click back.
8) When posting a reply, is there the ability to quote a previous comment. This way, if a thread gets long, and someone is late to the game, they can quote a previous comment directly.
9) Stats on the user within the postings. Items such as ‘join date', ‘number of posts' (in total throughout the forum), and maybe the users role [member, vendor, moderator]


Questions regarding the UD Users' website:

1.     On the Maintain Companies screen,

-   could E-Space please expand the zip code box so when we have a +4 zip code, it will all show without scrolling?

-   Change the "Dues paid on" and "Joined on" fields as "not required" since some of the CU's have never joined or paid dues?

-   Change the "CEO" and "Asset size" to "not required" since we don't normally know that information when we update their information?

-   Perhaps we need to add a status for "deconverted" and "merged"?   That way we wouldn't have to make them active and then click on remove?

-   Should we have an additional "type" for Vendor? Or is there a special place where we are going to record vendors and what level of access they will have?

2.    Do the end users have the ability to update their CU's information?  For example, CEO, Asset Size, Type?    Do we need to add an additional type of "CUSO" since there are some CU's that will be joining that are neither service bureau or in-house since they are a member of a CUSO?   Add as required fields for them to enter their CEO's name and asset size?

3.    Some of the CU's do not have their own domain for their email addresses.   I'm thinking the board will need to make a decision on how to handle those CU's.  In the past, I think we've loaded whatever they were using but I don't think we can do that moving forward.  For example, Peoples Credit Union - ncn.net or Puerto Rico FCU - telconectstate.com?

4.    We should have a way to display the names of the CU's that we have removed.  I know they are still on the website, per Jonny, but I think there may be times we want to view them.

5.    How are you going to restrict Harland  FS access to other than Ultradata forums since they all have a "harlandfs.com" domain?  Perhaps have them apply for access?  (Of course that assumes that you are going to charge the other product lines a fee like any other non-Ultradata vendor.)

6.    When we "remove" a company, we need the website to also remove access for any users that have that domain name?  (for example, Gulf Winds) OR do we want to manually remove them from both places?





Forum questions:

How about putting out an email asking people from the Yahoo group to get enrolled into our website?  I've loaded all the CU's and activated all of the ones that I had websites for.  There are some CU's that do not have a domain name loaded.  This pre-release enrollment could increase usage from Day one.



I think we need to contact Bud Hobeck about what's going on with the Forum.
